I have become fascinated with American darts although I've never played it and I have never seen a board anywhere except on the web. The wooden board and the darts make it look like a game time forgot and it's great to see this fairly localized game has such a strong and dedicated following. I grew up in England and I remember the big old brass darts with feathers from my childhood, the American darts kind of remind me of those. I really would like to try out this game sometime and see how greatly it differs form playing on a bristle board and steel tips. The motto “Relax, Have Fun, Play Darts” should be a mantra to all dart players no matter what kind of darts they play.
